Point Breeze occupied home stage
This gorgeous, 2300 sq ft. home needed updating before hitting the market in July of 2026. The owner had great taste and an amazing personal art collection - but needed an assist in removing the last vestiges of interior finishes from the 80’s.
The added challenge? This home was going to be occupied while on the market - and full of the owner’s belongings. We had minimal budget for prep, and the client had pets. The plan was to use exactly what pieces she had, let go of the furnishings and decor s, and rethink the placement of what stayed.
Before: This room was large with a gorgeous view, but the late 80's design drew all of the attention. We re-imagined this feature wall by removing the fireplace, and repainting the room a simple soft white to create a blank canvas
After: Those changes allowed us to focus on the gorgeous Italian cabinetry, but the spacing created a problem. The unusual layout gave us a great opportunity to get creative with her artwork collection, and we added vases and branches for texture and height.
This whole project was a treasure hunt! We found these gorgeous canvas paintings from the 60's in the basement, and made them a focal point
Another stunning piece that made it's way to the feature wall in the living room. The greens provided a balance to the red Italian cabinets
